In addition to general medical consultations we are pleased to be able to provide specialist clinics and services covering the following areas:pregnant_19

Asthma -  regular clinics to help you measure your progress, minimise symptoms and get the best out of your treatment.

Cervical Smears - can be carried out by a nurse at a well woman check or a family planning clinic.

Maternity care - available from the GP's and midwife.

Child Health Clinics - organised by the health visitor to ensure that development is progressing well. Main weighing clinic on Monday from 10:00 - 12:00 held at Maple Tree Children Centre at Roman Way School.

Child Immunisation - For children under 5, to protect against diptheria, measles, mumps, polio, rubella, tetanus and whooping cough. Your child will be sent for when they are due.

Diabetes - a comprehensive check to help you get the best out of your treatment.

Orthopaedics / Musculo-skeletal Services - advice and injections as appro- priate.

Family planning and women's health - advice for women of all ages and appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and alternate Wednesday evenings. Nexplanon insertion, IUD fitting, condom dispensing and emergency contraception included.

Foreign travel - Complete the form and then see the practice nurse in the treatment room, ideally about three months before departure for immunisations and guidance on staying healthy.Nurse_BP

Health checks - including new patients, well women / well man and carried out by the nurses.

Heart disease prevention - blood pressure, smoking habit and cholesterol check.

Womens Health Clinic - symptom control and issues related to the meno- pause.

Minor surgery  - to remove skin lesions is performed in the health centre treatment room.

Stress management - advice, counselling and relaxation to help in stress avoidance and management is available from the counsellors.

Winyates website and its online services provider patientaccess have both been tested and are not vunerable to this attack.

Message us!

You can now send us a message via Online Services (Patient Access) rather than have to wait on the phone or come in. We have also added the facility to update your address and phone number too.

Patient Survey has now closed.

Results have now been published on the Patient Group noticeboard.

EPS 11th Feb

Text reminders

Appointment text reminders are not working again. We have had to switch them off again while we waiting for our clinical system supplier to fix the problem. 

In the meantime, please download the Patient Access App, you can then receive reminders to your smart phone/device using the App.

Data sharing

We have added a new area to the website (under "Further Information" on the right hand side) which lists the organistations with which we are required to share data with. Here you will find information on what data is shared and also how, should you wish, you can opt out of your data being shared.

are now available to download. Order repeats, book or cancel appointments and set calender reminders all via your smartphone or tablet.
