Nursing Team:
The team has a wide variety of qualifications and skills to provide
the best patient support and treatment.
The nurses use their special skill to run the Health Promotion
Clinics, and are well known for their interest in asthma, baby
immunisation, cervical screening, family planning and well person
checks.
District
Nurses:
Assess, plan and provide nursing care for patients at home. They
have a particular knowledge of many specialist nursing and social
services available for people with long term illness or after
operation. They have a special role in caring for patients with
terminal illness at home.
Health
Visitors:
The attached health visitors are available to give advice and
monitor the health and development of young children and families. We work
closely with the health visitors over the child health surveillance programme.
Community
Midwives:
Provide care and advice during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Community
Dentist:
Provides dental care for school children, handicapped and disabled
people.
Social
Worker:
Provides advice concerning housing, money and other social needs.
Reception /
Administration Staff:
Keep the surgery running smoothly by helping you to contact
the appropriate nurse, doctor or therapist..
